Authorized Certification
The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Border Health Office (BHO) requires all users to go through authorized Texas Risk Assessment for Type 2 Diabetes in Children (TRAT2DC) training prior to conducting risk assessment activities. The TRAT2DC Risk Factor Electronic System (RFES) has an online training certification. Personnel authorized to conduct risk assessments will have to obtain their training and certification by using the training certification available on the RFES website. The training can be accessed by logging in with a RFES username and password. Individuals who do not have a RFES username and password and wish to obtain one may contact the UTRGV Border Health Office by e‐mail at bho@utrgv.edu or by phone at (956) 665-8900.
